We just wanted to apologise again for how difficult things were yesterday. We had clearly explained to our builder, but to everyone’s surprise he went ahead with the front of the chimney breast. Unfortunately both of us work and did not see it till it was completed – the builder (quite wrongly, obviously) assured us there would be no problem, but clearly it was highly inconvenient and an unnecessary aggravation for all of us.

We’re glad that in you were able to overcome the difficulties (we don’t yet know how you did it – but thank you!) – The flue looks great and we’re very pleased with the job so far.
