We just wanted to apologise again for how difficult things were yesterday. We had clearly explained to our builder, but to everyone’s surprise he went ahead with the front of the chimney breast. Unfortunately both of us work and did not see it till it was completed – the builder (quite wrongly, obviously) assured us there would be no problem, but clearly it was highly inconvenient and an unnecessary aggravation for all of us.

We’re glad that in you were able to overcome the difficulties (we don’t yet know how you did it – but thank you!) – The flue looks great and we’re very pleased with the job so far.

Can I take this opportunity to remark on the excellent manner that your three workers carried out the installation of my new gas fire. They efficiently put dust sheets over all my existing furniture and carpets right out to the front door, removed the original fire, put in the new one and vacuumed up afterwards. There was no damage to the décor and the fire looks as if it was an original part of the house.

I would also like to say they were polite and respectful at all times.
Please pass these comments on to the men in question as people are always ready to complain when things are not as they should be and on this occasion I would be happy to recommend your firm to anyone.

We were impressed with the welcome and service we received when we first visited your showroom and also the helpful advice you provided when you visited our house to provide an estimate.
